The Schecter Avenger FR-S Apocalypse is a high-performance instrument geared for modern metal players. The body is made of swamp ash; the 5-ply maple/padauk neck is set-in for maximum resonance. A compound radius ebony fretboard has 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets for complete comfort when executing fast passages.

Armed with a Schecter USA Apocalypse bridge humbucker, this guitar delivers balanced yet aggressive tones with a crushing mid-range and a tight, focused response. A Sustainiac neck pickup offers intense and infinite sustain. Toggle the effect off and on, or shape the sustain with the 3-way Fundamental/Mix/Harmonic mode switch.

Additional features include the Schecter-exclusive Floyd Rose 1500 series bridge with stainless steel appointments and push-in arm, Grover tuners and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dot markers.

    This guitar is just fantastic, It is the perfect weight and the neck is insanely fast. The sustaniac doesn't always pick up to vibrate the strings but thats probably just a height issue... I own gibsons, bc rich, other schecters, this guitar is my favorite. Could sometimes use a little bit of a boost for metal, but still fantastic.

    Fantastic feel, awesome fretboard, crazy tone, awesome Floyd Rose. My only complaint is that sometimes changing between pickups is delayed but other than that, this guitar is awesome. The pictures do not do it justice. The Sustainiac is flawless!
