If you break the foot pedal board at the bottom, it is not available as a part from Roland, you have to buy another piano.
I am really enjoying this superb digital piano!

I recently moved to a home with a lot of stairs, so I could not bring the piano from my old home. I used to play a Roland piano in a public school music room, which I loved. That one was bought in 2000. I was happy I could find a new Roland in a light wood, to match the other furniture in the room. I am really enjoying the sound and touch of this digital piano. It is fabulous. I expect to enjoy it even more in the coming weeks (I've only had it for one week) after reading through the manual. #SWEEPSTAKES (please note this is the second review I am submitting, since I forgot to include the word #SWEEPSTAKES in the other one!)

I moved to a home that has a lot of stairs, and could not bring my upright piano with me. For many years I taught public school music in a room that had a Roland digital piano (circa 2000) so I decided to buy one for myself. I was happy that I could find one with light wood, since my room is furnished with light wood. I have only been using this piano for one week, and I really love the way it sounds. It is a powerful instrument, though it is not large. I expect to learn to use more of its features after reading the manual thoroughly.
