Description
Explore uncharted sonic depths with the PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10. Suited to project and professional studios, this subwoofer takes it all the way down to 20Hz for some seriously earthquaking sound. Relatively compact and conveniently integrable with existing nearfield speakers, the Pro Sub 10 expands monitoring range with its defined bass response. Mix confidently with the reassurance that all frequencies have been accounted for and create translatable productions that sound great anywhere. The PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10 has the ability to transform your workflow with its accurate reproduction of thundering low end that doesn’t overshadow the upper-end precision of your favorite nearfield studio monitors.
Take Charge of Your Low-End Foundation
Utilizing a 10" glass-composite driver, 170-watt amplification producing up to 113dB SPL and a frequency response of 20Hz–200Hz, the PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10 extends the reach of your monitoring system’s low end with power and clarity. The Pro Sub 10 acts as a central monitoring hub for a 2.1 setup and offers the range required for full-spectrum coverage from 20Hz–20kHz with your existing stereo speakers. Take charge of your mix’s low-end foundation and never have to guess what’s happening below your main monitors’ stopping point. Ideal for project studios and professional environments, the Eris Pro Sub 10 complements any nearfield speakers with meaningful reproduction of bass frequencies, supporting informed and refined mix decisions.
Seamless Crossover Transition
Choose your crossover using a continuously variable low-pass filter (50Hz–130Hz) to set the upper frequency produced by the PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10. Additionally, a selectable high-pass filter removes frequencies from 80Hz and below from the full-range subwoofer outputs to your main monitors. These easy-to-dial-in features ensure that the transition from subwoofer to left/right mains isn’t smeared or unintelligible, so your monitoring system’s low-end response is always clear and precise. Setting the perfect crossover also helps reference monitors perform better, as they’re not having to reproduce distortion-inducing frequencies that the PreSonus Pro Sub 10 is more capable of handling.
Clear, Coherent Sub-Bass
When introducing a subwoofer to a 2.0 system, one potential downside is simultaneously bringing flubby, out-of-control lows into the equation. The PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10 compensates for this by using a lightweight, rigid glass-composite cone that produces tight and punchy sub-bass. It also boasts superior transient response and bare minimum distortion for the same precision and accuracy you’d expect from your full-range stereo monitors. The net result is trustworthy low-frequency content to safely build a mix upon—never lose sense of where a production is headed, but instead have a crystal-clear picture of the entire spectrum with the down-low support of the Pro Sub 10.
Footswitchable Bypass
The PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10 puts A/B mixing at your feet via an included momentary footswitch. Bypass the subwoofer, high-pass filter and Sub Out with underfoot control—temporarily focus on the finer details of an instrument or project, then bring the Eris 10 back in to complete the image. Quick swaps keep you locked in flow, given the ability to suspend and reengage the subwoofer on the fly. Setting the crossover to the frequency at which your nearfields stop offers two instantly accessible references in a streamlined 2.1 monitoring arrangement.
Up the ante and convert your 2.0 setup to a bass-rich 2.1 system using the PreSonus Eris Pro Sub 10. Its 10" glass-composite driver is not only loud, but exceptionally articulate, so even the lowest sub frequencies retain a surprising sense of coherence. Thanks to its flexible crossover controls, integrating the Eris Pro Sub 10 with existing nearfields is strictly beneficial, adding low-end extension without compromising full-range fidelity. The PreSonus Eris Sub Pro 10 allows you to confidently mix assertive, commanding bass that you just won’t get from stereo nearfield monitors alone.
