The Importance of Accurate Tuning
How Does A Strobe Tuner Work?
Description
Peterson Tuners StroboStomp HD Pedal Tuner offers revolutionary tuning technology for guitarists, bassists and musicians of all kinds. Boasting a high-definition LCD display with variable color LED backlighting, the StroboStomp HD provides an easy-to-read interface with user-selectable colors to suit any ambient lighting situation. The StroboStomp HD offers unparalleled accuracy to 1/1000th of a semitone or 1/1000th of a fret, with a range of 391Hz to 490Hz.
Silent, Pop-Free True Bypass Operation
For the tone-conscious musician, the StroboStomp HD features a 100 percent silent true bypass mode that eliminates the annoying "pop" sound when engaging the tuner. A series of timed relays drain incoming signal and effectively shut down the tuner without affecting tone.
Buffered Output Mode for Long Signal Chains
The StroboStomp HD also offers a buffered output mode to boost signal over long cable runs or large pedalboards. The buffered mode preserves tone throughout the instrument's range while engaging the tuner.
Over 100 Sweetened Tunings for Optimized Intonation
With over 100 Sweetened Tunings, the StroboStomp HD helps correct inherent tuning issues in many instruments. Sweetened Tunings are Peterson's proprietary presets optimized for specific instruments to increase playability over a wider range. The StroboStomp HD also features numbered guided tunings for popular open and alternate tunings.
A Tuner for Every Instrument
Whether you play guitar, bass, steel guitar or another instrument, the StroboStomp HD has you covered. It supports 6, 7, 8 and 9-string guitars, 4, 5 and 6-string basses and 8, 10 and 12-string steel guitars. The StroboStomp HD's range of 391 to 490Hz includes concert A pitch settings for any instrument.
