      Love this kit. Great warm sound. Great look. I like the sound with the coated heads. Great hardware. Very light weight but durable. The cases are very nice and strong. This is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm older and looking for something light to carry, with a good sound that comes with hardware and cases at a great price. Might not be low end enough sounding for the rock drummer but can be used in almost any style of music.

      That is a matter of preference - you will get a slightly different tone with each position.
