Overall amazing drum set. I have only been playing drums for a couple of years and just recently bought a drum set again after not playing for 3 years. But the drums are very responsive and sound great! I would suggest to get brand new drum heads other than that it's fantastic

Great kit. Best kit I've ever owned. Used it regularly gigging for over a year with no problems. Travels easy with cases. Great sound. The snare sounds awesome. As said before, you will want to get new heads. At the price, you cant go wrong with this kit. Can't recommend it enough.
Nice Looking and sound great!

These drums more than meet my needs in a kit. Nice sound and look fantastic!! Easy to tune. Am currently using the stock heads and plan on replacing them, but they don`t sound too bad. I have Dixon hardware that is very good also. Quite pleased with these drums!! :)
Best Kit I Have Ever Owned

This is by far the best kit I have ever played/owned. On pervious kits I've played, I was having trouble with tuning my rack toms. At first I thought it was poor tuning, but after some investigation, I found that the design of the suspension system (Supported around the tuning pegs themselves) that was causing the problem. Then I saw the PDP Concept Series Kit at my local guitar center. I was taken but the Red to Black Sparkle finish to begin with, but then the sound just blew me away. With the rack tom suspension system supported by the lug casings, it doesn't affect the natural sound of the drums and it sounded beautiful. I would recommend replacing the stock heads on these drums however, since they are not quite up to snuff. I would recommend the Evans Level 360 G2 Coated Batters and G1 Clear resos if you are looking for a warm, deep and fat sound (These are what I use). If you are looking for a high quality drum set, but on a working musicians budget, then this is the kit for you. You will not be disappointed. ROCK ON PDP CONCEPT SERIES DRUMS!!!!!!!
Best Kit I've Ever Owned

I have owned three drum sets so far in the 10 years I've been drumming, and the PDP Concept Series kit is by far the best. I previously owned a Tama Silverstar kit but I was having trouble with my rack toms because of the design of the suspension system (supported at the tuning lugs themselves) which from my experience affected the sound of the drums for the worse. Then about three months ago I saw the PDP concept kit. I demoed it at a local guitar center. I was very impressed with the Red to Black Sparkle finish on the drums but from the very first hit I made on these drums, I was Blown Away. The snare drum was incredible and the toms and kick drum sounded like thunder. And with the suspension around the lug casings, it doesn't affect the natural sound of the drums. My personal taste in drum sound consists of: warmth, depth, fat, and thunderous mid to low end. I do recommend the stock heads be replaced as soon as possible. I recommend Evans G2 Coated Batters and G1 Clear Reso Heads. If you are looking for a drum set that provides the quality of a DW drum set but at a working musicians price, this is the kit for you. You will not be disappointed. ROCK ON PDP CONCEPT SERIES DRUMS!!!
