    Nice finish, easy to put together, seems sturdy but time will tell. The top opens to store music and other stuff. If you have a piano without a stool, this should help the situation.

    Being a later in life beginner with a keyboard I was shocked at prices of the supposed "good" or high end benches . So a day of review searching and then pulling the trigger was the absolute best choice I think I could've made . It's very sturdy ,seems more than comfortable enough with about as much under seat storage as expected…wish the storage area was a little deeper so I could fit headphones but that's nitpicking . It's got a sort of timeless classic style , not too modern not too antique, won't look out of fashion in a few years. Height seems just right ,and no wobble when shifting around on it so far. Which is the only real long term worry I have seeing as I believe it's laminate covered press wood around the base / seat /storage area where the legs connect. The connection is a heavy duty screw/bolt so I don't see that being an issue in itself but anywhere pressboard (particle board) is used I'm weary .so time will tell ,and I'm not the best at keeping a proper practice schedule so it's not getting daily use . If you're on the fence I'd say you're safe if you pull the trigger..oh one last thing, the locking hinge for the storage area is a little sketchy, it works fine and doesn't look to be so cheap it'll fail from use… but the locking itself I don't know if I trust it completely. So I don't leave it up once I've gotten or replaced whatever, out of caution . I Imagine after a bit of time once it is done settling in I'll need to snug /check snugness of the legs .but after that as long as it's treated properly I think it'll last the rest of my life ( one way or another it's gonna for me but I dont foresee a problem) ..
