Be advised this cable is meant for connecting XLR microphones to consumer recorders like computers and voice recorders, NOT! for connecting an iPod to a PA system as iPods & consumer media is unbalanced and in stereo and this is the exact opposite. Get a WHIRLWIND pcDI for iPod over XLR as it is a stereo DI box designed for this! Just wanted to warn potential buyers the use!

This is the perfect cable connection for my studio! Mogami has made my studio sound as perfect as I could ever imagine. My entire signal chain, from mic to mixer and preamp to interface to computer and even out to my monitors, consists of Mogami cables! They are expensive, yet I felt from experience you get what you pay for. This particular patch cable is the true link between my performances and my Mac! Thanks Mogami!!!
