The Mapex Storm Fusion drum kit offers a complete set of drums for the first-time player, but is equally suited for the performing drummer who needs a highly portable second kit that is easy to assemble and sounds great. The all-poplar shells have the Mapex SONIClear bearing edge, making tuning simple while giving the drums plenty of tone. The 20x16 in. bass drum delivers punchy lows while still being small enough for younger players. Shorter tom depths deliver instant, full tone and allow for easier tom positioning. The newly designed Storm hardware is rugged, with three-tiered cymbal stands for maximum adjustment.

    It says it's a fusion set but says it has a 20" bass drum then later in the description it says it has a 22" bass drum. So which is it? Since it's a fusion set and not a rock set I would assume 20"?

    The Mapex Storm Rock set is the best complete drum set perfect for the first time player needing a set with all of the hardware included. The all-poplar Mapex Shells have the Mapex SONIClear™ bearing edge making tuning very simple and gives the drums plenty of tone. The 22" bass drum delivers a punchy low end. All of the hardware is double braced and along with the drums boast one of the best warranties in the business.
