Description
The MAPEX Mars Special Edition 5-piece shell pack is a speedy, shallow-depth birch drum kit with a beautiful lacquer finish. It comes with a full 5-piece set of drums in standard diameters: 22x18" bass drum, 10x7 and 12x8" toms, a 16x14" floor tom and 14x5" snare. These sizes give this kit the range to play in any style or genre, while the shorter depths make sure the sound is punchy and quick. It also ensures the kit remains lightweight and portable. And to get the most out of the birch wood shells, MAPEX included their proprietary SONIClear bearing edges, which use an extra bit of rounding to keep contact between the head and wood. This is a great-sounding kit with a classic, quality look.
