    If you just need to bring your lead tone out if the mix this is the pedal to get it done. Give me just that punch I need to let my lead tone break the surface and ring out.

    At first I wasn't sure about it...when engaged, it was a little "glassy" for me...I play a telecaster...but with the "high cut" dip switch on....wow! I can get MORE of my tone without noticeable coloration of my tone...love it!

    Boosts your signal without totally changing your sound. Perfect for using to add more gain to an already overdriven amp (or distortion channel/pedal). I like the compact mini design so it doesn't take up much room on a pedal board. I played around with the internal switches and to me the gain switch, when activated, sounded like a tube screamer to me, whereas with the switch off (how it comes stock) was more transparent to my ear. The hi cut switch I didn't notice much difference. All in all great pedal, great price
