collapse expand iconDescription

JBL's PRX912 powered loudspeaker delivers unparalleled performance for live sound reinforcement. Featuring JBL's most innovative acoustic components and DSP technology, the PRX912 is built to handle the demands of any gig while delivering pristine, room-filling audio. The PRX912 is a versatile solution for anyone seeking a durable, powerful PA system.

Pristine Sound Through Advanced Components

The PRX912 leverages JBL's latest acoustic innovations for clarity and definition even at maximum volume levels. Next-generation drivers provide smooth frequency response and wide dispersion, allowing the PRX912 to fill any venue with rich, full-range audio. An efficient Class-D amplifier powers the drivers, delivering up to 1,200W of uncolored power.

Comprehensive DSP Control and System Tuning

With 12-band parametric EQ, the PRX912's DSP package provides nuanced tonal control. Integrated dbx DriveRack technology offers live and fixed feedback suppression, a soft limiter and speaker delay for optimizing system timing. The DSP settings are accessible through the onboard LCD screen or wirelessly through JBL's Pro Connect app.

Road-Ready Durability

The PRX912's composite cabinet is built to withstand the demands of touring and live events. Its internal bracing increases rigidity, improving acoustics and durability. Like all JBL products, the PRX912 undergoes rigorous testing to ensure years of flawless performance. JBL backs the PRX912 with an industry-leading 7-year warranty.

Convenient Wireless Control

JBL's Pro Connect app provides wireless control of the PRX912's DSP settings and up to 10 connected speakers. The app allows saving speaker snapshots and grouping multiple speakers together. Integrate the PRX912 with other JBL portable PA gear like the EON ONE MK2, PRX ONE and EON700 systems for an optimized, scalable live sound solution.

  • Better than the K12.2's! Love them!

A band I run sound for uses QSC K12.2 tops, and these sound better! More natural sounding flatter response, and get loud while maintaining that sweet sound (the K12.2's sounded harsh and not flat by comparison, misleading one to think they sounded livelier). They don't go very deep (weren't designed to), which at first kind of disappointed me (they had less bass than my Alto TS312's). But then I tried high-passing at 45hz, and bumping up around 60hz. There it was! Nice chest-hitting bass, while maintaining clarity. Paired with a couple of 18 inch subs, these things are amazing! Plenty of power! My main PA tops for running sound for bands are SRX812p's, and these can't touch those (the SRX812p's are BEASTS). But they are now my go-tos for karaoke/small parties, and weddings (with PRX918XLF subs). The bluetooth app control is neat, but usually just set them flat at 0dB unity gain, and either use my Driverack PA2 and/or my mixer to handle all the crossover/EQ work.

  • Powerful speaker & new firmware works better

I bought and uploaded the new 10/1/23 firmware which solved all the previous issues people were complaining about, no more premature clipping, more full power, bass boost and other improved dsp options let me use 1 prx912 for a solo keys and singing gigs without having to buy a sub prx915xlf. I bought the prx912 over the prx one stick/sub unit because i like the independence of having separate components so that i can always upgrade or add options to the system and or if a component fails i can always pickup a mixer or another speaker. These JBL's are warranted for 7 years no need to buy extended warranties. These prx912 get very loud without clipping, the trick is to adjust the volume and gain per channel and adjust the final volume large knob to get the most power out of the unit...
