The Galaxy Grip Bag by Humes & Berg is able to stand freely because of the weighted, molded plastic base, which provides protection as well as balance. The entire upper third of the bag comes off via the double zipper, giving you full access to all of your sticks and mallets. The top part of the bag can also be used to store a towel for trap tables or for your sweaty, clammy hands.
Comfortably holds 15-25 pairs of mallets. The entire bag is protected from the elements because of its high-denier polyester exterior, which is also reinforced to keep anything from hurting your expensive mallets.

I was looking for a new stick bag/silo without breaking the bank. Since I use DW drums with suspended toms, i never liked the typical stick bag that strapped to the floor tom. This case is exactly what I was looking for since it stands on the floor securely with the weighted base. Unzipped, with the top folded back, it will even hold a set of headphones without tipping over. There are 4 dividers, so you can easily divide sticks, brushes, mallets, etc. There is an identification tag on the top, and a mesh pocket in the inside of the top for drum keys, etc. Also, a handle on the top & side as well as a shoulder strap. So far, more that satisfied.
