    Amazing sounding kit. The pure tone that resonates from these drums is incredible. I've owned them for about a week now and already took them to a band rehearsal. We record every practice and I couldn't believe the sound when I listened later. The bass drum is punchy and beefy at low tunings, but with definite tone. Sounds great. The heads that come with it are great at reducing resonance so you really don't even have to put anything in it. Maybe an Evans EQ Pad but not much else. The toms sound fantastic. I can't decide which is my favorite to play. The tuning range is impressive. The slightest changes in the tension to the lugs can produce a noticeable difference in tone. Really great stuff. The heads on the toms sound way better than I thought they would (i'm more of a coated guy). Great tone and clarity. I even like the snare drum. I usually play a G4160 but this has got something special. I like the overtones it produces. Very musical. It makes my doubles sound good...for a change. Overall I'm very impressed with this kit and it will be my go to set for a long time.
