      Les Pauls don't always fit in "standard" cases. Most custom fit Les Paul cases cost much more than $100; some are almost more expensive than budget model guitars! This case fits snugly & securely & it was less than $100; tax & all; out the door.

      I bought this because I'm not crazy about SKB type cases and what can I say, Gator is one of the best brands out there, and this case is a good reason. Great Old School Case, I like the Tolex covering, and the padding is nice and thick, and my Epiphone Les Paul fits like a glove. The Case is a great buy for $74.99. I've spent more on less in the past.

      I bought this a year ago for my Ibanez ART100. Fits great, although it has a bit of extra padding behind the guitar but that just ensures a snug fit. I love the compartment, great for tuners, spares strings etc. its been transported several times a week and although it has a little road rash (i'm not easy on things), it has really stood up to the abuse and kept my guitar safe. If i buy another LP shaped guitar, i'll get another one of these as well.

      Body Size: The Firebird Jet is slightly thinner than a Les Paul and may have a smaller or slightly different body contour. Neck Angle: Gretsch necks often have different neck angles than Gibsons, which could affect how the guitar sits in the case. Headstock Clearance: Gretsch headstocks can be longer and may sit differently in a Les Paul-style case. t may not be a snug or secure fit, which could lead to movement during transport. The headstock angle or body contour may cause uneven pressure or leave parts unsupported.
