Ample coverage is likewise never an issue for small to medium-size gigs, as the EVERSE 12 boasts ultrawide 100° horizontal and 60° vertical dispersion angles to bathe the audience in sound. A custom-designed lithium-ion battery powers the EVERSE portable speaker with up to 12 hours of playback, so it’s more than capable of handling events that run late into the wee hours. The specialized battery pack is easily removed with tool-free screws should it ever need replacement, and Electro-Voice cleverly built in protection circuitry that prevents the battery from discharging to such a low voltage that it can’t be recharged. The wireless aspect of the Electro-Voice EVERSE 12 isn't just a novelty—it’s thoroughly designed to support uncompromising audio quality, unplugged and on the move. An integrated 12V DC port can juice a wireless microphone system (sold separately), and there’s even an included charging port for mobile devices, turning the EVERSE into a central entertainment hub.
