Novation

collapse expand iconDescription

The Novation Bass Station II analog synthesizer puts the fat, unmistakable tone of true analog circuitry into an updated design overflowing with creative potential. While it excels at crafting thick, punchy basses, the Bass Station II's sound engine is versatile enough to generate razor-sharp leads, crisp arpeggios and more. Coupled with the included gig bag, it's a portable analog powerhouse ready to integrate into any production studio or live rig.

Pure Analog Tone With Hands-on Control

From its oscillators to its filter and effects section, the Bass Station II's entire signal path is 100% analog for rich, organic tones that only true analog can deliver. All major parameters have dedicated knobs, sliders and switches, letting you shape your sound with the kind of hands-on control that's simply not possible with menu-diving digital interfaces. Tweak the multi-mode filter for searing resonance. Dial in rhythmic movement with the modulation section's LFO and envelopes. Analog distortion and the Osc Filter Mod knob add an extra analog dimension.

Instant Recall for 128 Patches

While the Bass Station II invites you to tweak and explore, you'll also want to lock in your favorite creations. The synth comes packed with 64 meticulously crafted factory presets spanning an impressive range of tones. Even better, you can store 64 custom user patches directly on the hardware itself for lightning-fast recall. Or, take advantage of the synth's computer connectivity to manage an unlimited library of your personal patches.

Expressive Performance Controls

With its 25 full-sized velocity-sensitive keys, the Bass Station II offers a premium playing experience that's far more satisfying than typical minikeys. Each key has an individually weighted spring mechanism for a light, responsive touch that translates every nuance into the sound. Assignable aftertouch enables signature performance gestures like swells and controlled filter sweeps. Whether crafting basslines, solos or melodic parts, the keyboard encourages an expressive, musical approach.

Seamless Studio/Stage Integration

While the Bass Station II overflows with inspiring analog character, it also integrates seamlessly into modern digital production setups. The synth is a class-compliant USB MIDI device, enabling plug-and-play connectivity to your DAW. Old-school 5-pin MIDI I/O ports let you interface with other MIDI hardware like synths and sequencers. From the studio to the stage, the Bass Station II slides effortlessly into any environment while injecting genuine analog grit into your mixes.

Whether you're producing speaker-shaking basslines, soaring synth leads or atmospheric pads and textures, the Bass Station II delivers the purity of analog tone with a modern twist. Its powerful engine, expressive controls and computer/MIDI connectivity make it a versatile centerpiece for any studio or stage setup.
