Good stand but needs a very easy modification...

The metal shaft of the stand is somewhat thin metal. With the threads on the bottom (where it screws into the base)..it is even thinner. In it's freshly purchased state, this is a good "stand", but will not hold up to any on-stage antics w/ modification. After our first stand's threads (near the base) blew out on the bottom and actually broke off, we decided to insert a 6" wooden dowel into the bottom of the shaft to reinforce it. It now holds up to considerable antics. I would highly recommend this mic stand...as long as you make the quick easy modification to reinforce the threads.

Great for the price!!

I was told that this was a lower end mic stand but I didnt want to pay the price on the more expensive ones.. so far I am very happy with these.. I only had one problem with one of the stands with the raise bar but I fixed it, so all is well now.. I would recommend these.. They are a great buy for the price.

Easy to assemble and adjust. I bought it because I sing and play guitar. So, on stage, the round base leaves clean space next to the mic stand to put the pedalboard.

  • Decent for the price, solid.

These work as expected, no surprises. The heavy base helps protect mics better than the tripod type.

Basic mic stand with a heavy base. No frills, worth the cost, and is perfect for my mic set up . I would purchase this again.

I’m very sorry, but no. You may try a boom extension. "Gravity Stands 2-Point Adjustment Boom Arm"
