Other premium features include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge and abalone rosette and purfling. Other features include chrome die-cast tuning machines, mahogany neck with a high gloss finish and a natural gloss-finished body. So you want a good ukulele?
If you have the money, this is definitely worth the purchase. I bought this uke about 2 years ago and have been playing ever since. I upgraded to this beauty after returning a beginners lanikai and subsequently decided I wanted a really good one. After testing all of the ukes at the guitar center, I settled on this baby. This uke sounds absolutely beautiful. It Has vibrant and airy sound. Also, I'm happy to report that after two years of jamming the tuning abilities haven't changed from the first day i got it. Further more the electric aspect of it is great. I can plug it in at anytime, and control the volume and bass right from my uke. All in all, it was a wonderful purchase. I'm so happy I invested in a quality product. If you want great sound, great aesthetic, and quality, this is the ukulele for you!

Beautiful looks, decent sound
i bought this uke on my own and was pumped. its a great looking ukulele and sounds great when plucking the strings individually, however when i strum the guitar, i get a bad reverb like sound. i don't plug the uke in all the time due to travel, or lack of an amp so whenever i play w/out one, it sounds poor. i wish i hadn't spent so much money on one that sounds bad with out an amp. i wouldv'e saved a couple hundred and bought the non-plugin version. overall its a beautiful and impressive ukulele, but unless you are playing with an amp 90% of the time, get the one without the pickup.

Nice but one tuning peg went wonky.

Bought for my semi-pro daughter, who used it lightly for 1 year. 4 days out of warrantly, we changed the strings, 2nd time, and one of the tuning pegs stopped working right. Can't tighten in the correct direction. Managed to get the string tuned by winding it in reverse direction - weird. Expect I'll have to get it repaired at my expense? We'll see. Absolutely beautiful instrument otherwise, but can't comment on electronics because she hasn't used them. With my experience and with the others who say electronics went out, recommend buying an extended warranty?
Beautiful Ukelele with Great Sound & Construction

I've owned this Ukulele for almost two years now. After researching wood types, brand quality, and in store listening experiments. This Uke caught my attention for it's capability to sound great in both acoustic and electric settings. The beautiful aesthetics of it's design and the bright sound quality have been worth it's high price to me. I learned about a year in on how to care for an acoustic instrument. My Uke was put through cold weather exposure and low humidity conditions that happen in Colorado. (Do Not Recommend) Even after my negligence, the Uke still sounds great. My acoustic bass guitar that stood next to my Uke didn't survive the same conditions. I have yet to service it or give it a tune up. It still has it's original strings, and only after two years I started getting buzzing on my C string. I would recommend anyone interested in buying a Ukulele, to check out this one out!

Went through 2 of these in 2 weeks and both had electronics go out and weren't repairable in the store. Had to go to a different company's ukulele. So far no problems with it.

Great sounding Uke. Like most Acust/Electr ukes overall volume is a little low when playing without being plugged in. Plugged in this Uke has beautiful tone. Finish and build of the instrument is well done.
