Midas HUB4 Monitor System Hub

The HUB4 monitor system hub is the command center for your personal monitoring setups. Designed by Midas, it powers and routes audio for up to four DP48 personal monitor mixers via PoE. For simplified setup, the HUB4 enables the first DP48 in a daisy chain to control any downstream units in slave mode. It also has a port ready for the coming StageConnect bidirectional audio standard, future-proofing your investment. With etherCON connectors made to withstand life on the road, the Midas HUB4 is the monitoring hub that brings it all together.

Power and Route Up to Four Personal Monitor Mixers

At the heart of the HUB4 is its ability to power and route audio for up to four DP48 personal monitor mixers simultaneously. Using PoE delivered over a single Cat5e cable, each DP48 is fed 48 channels of pristine 24-bit digital audio at 48kHz sample rate. The DP48 puts control of each performer's monitor mix right at their feet. With the ability to daisy chain multiple HUB4 units together, you can scale up to run dozens of personal mixers for symphony-sized monitoring rigs.

16 Balanced Outputs to Feed In-Ear Transmitters

In addition to routing digital audio to the DP48s, the HUB4 provides 16 balanced XLR outputs that can be fed from the stereo mixes of each connected personal monitor mixer. These outputs are perfect for connecting directly to in-ear transmitters, eliminating extra cabling from the DP48s to the rack. Alternatively, you can use the 16 outputs as auxiliary sends straight from the FOH console for side fills, talkback and more.

Remote Control Integration With M32 Consoles

The HUB4 enables seamless integration with Midas M32 consoles for comprehensive remote control of the DP48 personal mixers. Control data from the M32 includes channel assignments, names and colors, transmitted digitally over AES50 for fast setup. The HUB4 routes this data to all connected DP48 units. It also forwards remote control commands between daisy-chained DP48s, allowing you to control any unit from a single master DP48.

Connect DL8 Stage Boxes via PoE

Forget bulky, tangled analog snake runs. The HUB4 allows you to connect up to four DL8 stage boxes over a simple Cat5e cable. Using PoE, the HUB4 delivers power and audio to each DL8 for streamlined stage connectivity. With eight XLR inputs per DL8, you can eliminate up to 32 analog lines back to the HUB4.

Future-Proofed With StageConnect Bidirectional Audio

Stay ahead of the curve with the HUB4's dedicated StageConnect port. This emerging standard allows bidirectional audio, control data, MIDI and power over a single XLR or DMX cable. Once available, StageConnect will enable new digital snake capabilities, while maintaining compatibility with your existing cabling.
