collapse expand iconDescription

The Martin 000-15M Auditorium All-Mahogany Acoustic Guitar blends the best of yesteryear with today, yielding an acoustic guitar that sounds as lush as it looks. Crafted from solid mahogany, the 000-15M resonates with a warm, rich voice that only improves with age. Its solid mahogany top, back and sides are responsibly harvested, hand-selected and book-matched for visual symmetry and tonal consistency. Traditional rosewood bridge and bone nut further enhance the 000-15M's premium sound. While vintage-accurate in appearance, Martin designed the 000-15M for modern playability. Its modified low-oval neck profile and slimmer nut width feel familiar to most players.

All-Mahogany Body Sings With Age

The all-mahogany body of Martin's 000-15M provides the foundation for its lush, resonant tone. Mahogany is a dense, durable wood that produces warm overtones, rich sustain and improves timbre over time. As the 000-15M ages, its tone will open up and become more complex, rewarding players with an acoustic guitar they can bond with for life.

Premium Appointments Enhance Sonic Nuance

A traditional rosewood bridge and bone nut grace the 000-15M, chosen for their ability to transfer string vibrations with clarity. The rosewood bridge's dense grain helps produce full, balanced tones across the tonal spectrum. Bone nut material yields crisp highs and even harmonics. Together, these premium appointments allow the 000-15M's all-mahogany voice to shine through without coloration.

Thoughtfully Designed For Playability

While the 000-15M may look vintage, Martin designed it for today's player. Its modified low-oval neck has a slimmer nut width and tapered profile, offering comfort for smaller hands or those used to playing steel-string acoustics. The 000-15M invites players with its solid mahogany body, rich voice and premium feel. A protective soft shell case is included, providing a safe haven for this soulful acoustic companion.

I bought this guitar along with another that I was going to test for a comparison and while this guitar plays and sounds amazing it leaves a lot to be desired for a $15-$1700 guitar. The case it comes with is barely a soft case. Yet alone a gig bag doesn't have any electronics, and there is no strap buttons even installed. overall sounds good but lacking a lot for an expensive guitar. When you remove the guitar from the case the case will fold in and collapse on itself.

Ne review mentions there are no buttons for a strap. Is there a recommendation? I'm assuming nylon strings? Is this guitar in stock at Roseville or Sacramento stores?
