One of the better Chorus Pedals out there.
Warm, Smooth, Eerie, Watery, Vintage, these are just a few of the tones you could capture while tinkering and playing around with this baby. I play in a Heavy Metal band that fuses the old school riffs and the new school aggression. My entire rig consists of a BC Rich ASM Pro, with EMG 85 neck and 81 bridge ran through a Marshall AVT150 head and cab. I decided to get a chorus pedal to add some depth and versatility to our sound and the MXR analog chorus was exactly what I was looking for. It gave me the option to add some eerie-ness to my clean tone and give me those haunting tones when I play around those diminished and harmonic minor notes. If you don't believe me, try one out and fiddle around with the lo and hi eq's til' you hit your sweet spot. It gives you so many options with both the rate and depth knobs. Overall, this little box can give you a whole lot of options. From jazz, to pop to rock to blues to metal. Every genre will find a need to add this pedal to their collection. At a Great Price too!

Not A Fan
I really wanted to like this pedal, but right off the bat, I noticed a bit of tone drop when the pedal was engaged. I messed around with the knobs a bit, and even when diming everything, the chorus effect seemed subtle and thin. It still chorused somewhat, but nowhere near as well as my Boss Super Chorus does. MXR is a great brand, but I feel like they dropped the ball on this one. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for solid chorus tones.

Worked fine for about 6 months. Then no effect at all. Swapped cables, tried with power supply or battery, no difference. Light comes on but no effect at all.
