Protects guitars while stored in the house and and great for travel

It's expensive, but should be thought of as an insurance policy. Worth every penny.

NOT RECOMMENDED: For me the M80 Electric Guitar Case was a major disappointment and I returned it within 24 hours. The large front pocket zipper would zip but it would not close. The zipper was also seriously undersized in my opinion. Therefore, I would never trust the case with either my iPad or MacBook Air in the front pocket. It is about the most expensive soft case available but it does not have the most quality. (I then purchased the newly released Gator soft case from Guitar Center for about $100 less than the M80. The new Gator is an amazing case with strong zippers everywhere, it looks tight, and it feels expensive inside & out with super-strong carrying straps. It is a perfect fit for my new Sterling Stingray, as well!) In addition, another design flaw of the M80 is this. The neck rest inside the M80 rides ridiculously high. It pitches the guitar upward at a weird angle. I felt and saw the extra pressure of the top of the case pressing onto the headstock after it was closed and this made no sense. Who in their right mind would want their guitar neck setting at an upward angle in a stupid case that pushed their headstock up until it bulged outward against the front of the case? It was screaming, "Break me! Break me!" The M80 looks inexpensive. Also, if one views customer experiences with Mono on YouTube, it will be difficult to want their product even if it was free. I was fortunate that I purchased the M80 at Guitar Center and the return was super easy. Thank you, Guitar Center!

Hubby needed a new guitar case to go with his new Epiphone "Broadway" guitar. Fits inside perfect! He's very happy!

I emailed the folks at Mono and was informed that ALL of their electric guitar gig bags fit Fender Jags and Jazzmasters. None of the sites with the so-called "case finder" search engines ever convey this. I have a Johnny Marr Jag and the "retro case" it came with is too big and clunky (while not offering the protection of the SKBs I got with my other Fenders). I own several Protec Contego model gig bags, which are hybrids like the Mono. They are great cases and about half the price of the M80. However, like so many gig bags, the Protec does not accommodate the dimensions of a Jag. They are geared to Telecaster and Strat style bodies. The Mono M80 fits my Jag nicely. The neck cradle is great. It seems a bit lighter than the Protec. It is a comfortable well-designed bag, with a sleek modern look. My only beef is with the padding on the bottom end of the bag, which is inside where the strap pin sits. I was surprised that the bottom padding on a bag that is as expensive as the M80 was not nearly as substantial as that on my Protecs. Although, this has not proven to be a problem for me, as I don't put it through the rigors of the road, as some of you might. So, for me, I am happy to have a quality bag that fits and protects my Jag. It's a tad spendy but worth it for the protection it affords my bigger investment. I would recommend that other Jag and Jazzmaster owners check out the Mono line. It is too bad that Mono and their online vendors don't promote the fact that their gig bags provide a nice option for toting, storing and protecting our "offset guitars." Thus, I am trying to spread the word.

After hauling my Collings DC290 around in a hard case, I was looking for a well constructed, lighter alternative that would protect her well. This bag is extremely well built and is lightweight to boot. The neck strap down feature keeps the neck and headstock safe. I'll be th efirst to admit, I do not drop, kick or otherwise abuse my guitars, but with this bag at least I am not worried about someone bumping into it and knocking it over. The layout of the bag is well thought out. Lots of storage for all those little things that seem to get in the way (cable, strap, tuner, phone, etc...). Buy this bag!
