The Meinl Percussion Microphone is a low-profile condenser mic with adhesive backing that sticks to the inside of acoustic percussion instruments. It's great to use for cajons, congas, djembes or frame drums. This percussion mic gets a good mix and boost of volume without invading your playing space. Included is an eighth-inch cable to quarter-inch adapter to feed the signal to a mixer or amp (quarter-inch cable not included).

    Microphone does not work out of the box. Plus no instructions on how to mount with extra stickies or how to replace battery. A absolutely worthless product and too late to get money back.

    I have only had it a few days but so far I really like it. The mic comes with 3M tape attached to stick it anywhere inside the Cajon. Used my Simmons drum amp and it really sounds good.

    I use it with my cajon. It picks up all the sounds great. I was pleasantly surprised. It was in the flyer when I ordered it. Took months to get. Wasn't to pleased with that. But was in perfect condition.

    Close to the top. The top is the skin, the top of the drum generates the lows.
