This amp will do a lot. You have the options of 78 different amps, 24 cabinets, 10 distortions, 14 delays, 13 reverbs and many more options. I have not found anything I don't like about it.
Great upgrade from the Spider IV 120

Started using an old Spider IV 120 (2 10's) last summer, when my HRD continued to have cap problems (still debugging). I dialed in a few patches and got it to do what I needed it to do for gigs in a new band. I bought this Spider V MKII 120 to allow me to leave my old amp at the rehearsal space AND to benefit with moving a lighter amp. I am very happy I did. The updated amp model choices are outstanding. At every turn, from hooking it up to my PC to dial in the settings, then to have the PC redirect its audio to the amp automatically (yup...I am old school). I am dialing in settings for tunes like a surgeon now. The 12" speaker is a huge improvement. And the balanced line outs, completely independent of the Master volume, makes playing in a full mixed band flawless. Saving a few minutes of set up time is a pretty big thing and being able to adjust my stage volume with zero affect on the sound board is great. So far, any negative settings that I encountered (through my own dialing) I am certain I can find what works with some investment in time on the editing software on my PC. Very happy woth this amp.

I use the Amp in my Recording Studio and like that I can pick any style amp out there. I use the FBV 3 Floor Controller along with, it is a must have! I've been using Line 6 since 2000 and have gone thru many of them and now with the Spider V it really sounds great!
I would recommend this product .

If you know what you want, and understand the fundamentals of amp types, effects, effect chains and eq, this amp can deliver. Don't be fooled by the name or the size. You don't need a 2000-3000 dollar amp to get the right sound. If you can imagine the sound, you can get the sound. Forget the pre-set tones. Build your own from the ground up and craft the tone you need.

Is there a Bluetooth to USB adapter that I can plug into this amps USB port so I can connect my iPad wirelessly through Bluetooth?
I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with your iPad and I don't have one to test. It seems like it should work but bluetooth can be touchy.submitted3 years ago

One of the few complaints I hear is that the iPad must plug into amp via cable as amp is not blue tooth compatible. Could I just plug a Bluetooth to USB adapter into amp, then play music and control amp via my iPad?
This needs a little bit of discussion. Please give us a call 855-770-3373submitted3 years ago

I like this amp over the 60 watt version because it includes a 12" speaker. I am worried about its volume level being 120 watts. Does anyone have experience using this amp at bedroom lever? What gain volume setting do you use and how does it sound?

Has the drum loop been updated, so the user can control tempo? The drum loop feature is useless, until this is changed to operate similar to the Fender G-DEC 30 amp combo.
The drum loop has not yet been updated. The tempo is not adjustable at this time.
