collapse expand iconDescription

The Helix multi-effects guitar pedal is a new kind of multi-effects floorboard processor that provides massive power and flexibility for creating authentic tones. Packed with Line 6's advanced HX modeling engine, Helix lets you hear brand-new models of vintage and modern amps, cabs, mics and effects—all designed to sound and feel just like the originals. This premium multi-effects unit appeals to players seeking a streamlined yet comprehensive guitar interface for studio, stage or a hybrid rig.

Unparalleled Processing Power and Advanced HX Modeling

Helix features dual DSP engines and four discrete stereo signal paths, providing the enormous processing power required for complex routing options and realistic emulation of gear. The HX modeling engine accurately recreates the dynamic feel and interaction of 45 amps, 30 cabs, 16 mics and 70 effects based on sought-after vintage and modern equipment. Each stage of an amp's circuitry is measured and matched to the original, capturing details like power supply ripple, individual tube sag and more. The result is the bloom, compression and gut punch of the real thing.

Intuitive Interface and Flexible Routing

Despite its massive capabilities, Helix is extremely intuitive. Touch-sensitive footswitches allow quick editing by simply touching a block, while the large display eliminates menu diving. Colored LED rings and scribble strips provide at-a-glance status of each footswitch. Creating tones is fast and routing options are unparalleled. Four stereo paths and four effects loops enable complex integration of external gear. Process multiple instruments at once, send signals to different destinations and build hybrid rigs incorporating analog and digital I/O.

Seamless Control Over Internal and External Devices

Helix becomes the command center for your entire guitar rig. Easily integrate traditional pedals and other hardware using the dynamically allocated DSP and flexible I/O routing. The four effects loops connect separate pedal chains or split for freely assignable ins and outs. Control external gear via MIDI with powerful real-time commands and patch recall triggering multiple changes. Add three expression pedals, CV/Expression out and external amp switching for a fully integrated system.

Helix 3.80 firmware update (as of Nov. 2024), is free to download by any owners of this product.
This free firmware update for Helix and HX hardware devices and the 3.80 software update for the Helix Native plug-in finally delivers six of the most requested amp channels and four unique cabs. Although the focus is on new amps and cabs, please note that the HX Effects processor and HX One pedal will still receive a new free effect.

Based on the Bogner Ecstasy and EVH 5150III (6L6), these new models round out the portfolio of amps, and the Teardrop Bass Q represents the first new Wah since v1.0.
