AMAZING FOCUS VT-211S is a Kramer straocaster ! MIKE MANNE
I really wanted to review this guitar, because i will tell you the real deal , obout his guitar. This guitar, started to get a bad wrap, because of 2 things, it did not get properly set-up and tuned, and second the guitar tuners are easy to replace by just ordering 6-in line klusons from stu-mac, that anyone can install. Do the tuners work, out of the box, yes but upgrading to better tuners makes it a better guitar. So, here we go with the best strat for the money available today, think of the price less than two hundred dollars, brand new. Second the neck plays like butter, the frets are level and no buzzing found, the colors available are nice especially the off white grey. The pick ups are really good, with alnico, 2 single coils and 1 bridge humbucker. 5 way switch, offers more tone choices. The guitar is very light weight, making it a pleasure to carry or play. This guitar actually keeps up with my fenders. After a pro set-up and new guitar tuners, you have a really nice guitar here. I was able to get the action nice and low, and get very good intonation with a peterson strobe tuner. This a very well made strat. as long as it gets a pro, sets up and tuneing with the strings broke in. It sounded great, out of the box and set up. I played it thru a 50 watt marshall and 2-12 celestions. I do recomend this kramer by gibson strat, run to the store and buy 2. I work on guitars, so i know how to set them up. It needs a professional luther set up. I set mine up, similar to my fender strat specifications ! This is a great guitar buy 2. Great guitar, at any price ! Nice work Kramer by gibson.

It's okay. couple tuning machines are loose
I bought a purple one of these at the guitar center in Lake Forest and it leaves a lot to be desired. It looks nicer than the other two beat up guitars I traded it in for, but one tuning machine is loose and the other is rusty and doesn't feel good to turn. they only feel okay once strings are tightened up on them. It needs modifications before I can consider it a good axe for professional guitarists. It also suffers from a lot of fret buzz when action is lowered where I want it. Might just want to get a Squier or an Epiphone. Not one of these

Tuners suck but...

Yeah, tuners are quite bad & hard to turn. Otherwise, it's great! Gibson(Kramer's owner) REALLY needs to switch to modern sealed tuners. Mine has perfectly level frets and zero fret sprout.
Lightweight mohahony body, Alnico V pickups, fast neck

The intonation was excellent. I lowered the saddles for better action. This guitar has a lightweight mohahony body, so it sounds warm and pretty on the clean side of my guitar amp and unplugged, so if you are looking for the twang sound, you will only get minimal twang. I bought two of these guitars, one to practice and not change the strings very often, and one to only play live venues with my fresh sounding and long lasting coated strings. So now I very seldom need to change guitar strings. This guitar sounds very good to my ears and the neck is slightly slimmer and smoother than most guitars. It comes with a Gibson Lifetime Warranty. I now enjoy playing the guitar every day. That is important.
Mohahony warmth, articulate and clear notes, good intonation

I have a Rogue Rocketeer RR200GB. It sounds a little muddy and not so clear and articulate. This Kramer Focus is a better sounding guitar than a Rogue Rocketeer or Fender Squire Sonic. The Alnico 5 pickups and mohahony body make this guitar sound as good as some Fender Mustangs and Telecasters. It stays in tune fairly well with the stock tuners. Perfect paint. The neck is slightly slimmer than a Stratocaster, but not as slim as my Rogue RR200. The Kramer Focus is a big name brand. It is made by Gibson and is covered by a Gibson Lifetime Warranty. I will be using my Kramer Focus electric guitar at all of my live venues.
Very nice for the price

Out of the box it was decent, but fret sprout was bad, and needed some leveling also to achive low action. After i did the work it was very nice, and pickups sound good for what they are, but are a little microphonic due to not being wax potted, but overall i still recommend this.
