The Klark Teknik DN32-MADI module unlocks the potential of your Behringer X32 or Midas M32 digital mixer, supplying 32 extra channels of I/O via the AES10-compliant MADI protocol. Connect With Confidence Over Long Distances

The DN32-MADI provides optical and coaxial MADI ports for interfacing with other MADI gear. The optical ports allow cable runs up to 500m, with the potential for up to 2km when using multimode fiber. Coaxial BNC connectors enable shorter 100m runs. With both connected simultaneously, the coaxial port automatically takes over if the optical link fails, giving you built-in redundancy. The optical connectivity makes the DN32-MADI perfect for linking distant equipment in large venues and installations.

Sync Internal and External Devices

In addition to audio channels, the DN32-MADI passes world clock between connected devices. The coaxial and optical inputs can provide master clock to your X32 or M32 mixer, while the outputs will transmit the console's clock downstream. This makes it easy to synchronize everything to a common reference. With sample-accurate clocking, your complete MADI rig will function as a tight, integrated system.

Expand Your Console to 64 Channels

Installing the DN32-MADI unlocks 32 extra input and output channels on your mixer, for a total of 64. Bidirectional audio channels let you record 32 console channels to a DAW while returning 32 playback streams, perfect for virtual soundchecks. When not using all 32 channels, any unused MADI inputs simply pass through to the output, maintaining connectivity with other devices.

The DN32-MADI installs into an open expansion card slot on compatible Midas or Behringer consoles. No additional rack gear is required. Configuration is easy with the built-in menus.
