At the heart of the 2A-KT are premium vacuum tubes - 12AX7, 12BH7 and EL84 - providing ultra-low noise and a balanced frequency response. The tubes impart the 2A-KT with vintage warmth and character, giving your sound tight lows, silky mids and shimmering highs. With hand-selected tubes, the 2A-KT delivers smooth, musical compression reminiscent of classic designs but with modern low noise and reliability.

Intuitive Controls Give You Command of Dynamics

The 2A-KT puts dynamic control at your fingertips. The Limit/Compress knob allows you to dial in the desired amount of gain reduction. Output Gain lets you boost or attenuate the output level. The Peak Reduction control determines how much the loudest peaks are compressed, while Gain Reduction adjusts how much compression is applied overall. With these intuitive controls, you can shape transients, add punch and balance your mix dynamics with ease.
