The JOYO BanTamP XL Tweedy II amp head from JOYO delivers dual-channel, American classic vintage tone. The drive channel has a little bit of fuzz, while the clean channel has warm and rich lows, providing a range of sounds to explore. It recreates the classic rock and blues tones of the 20th century with mids you can boost to accentuate your guitar playing. With channel switching and separate EQ for the drive and clean channels, the Tweedy II amp uses a single 12AX7 tube in the preamp and has a solid-state power amp.

    I have had my Tweedy for about 2 years now and I love it. I was looking for a clean amp that could get a little bit of sizzle. The Tweedy is great for that. I actually prefer the clean channel at full gain a lot. I rarely use the dirty channel. The dirty channel seems to just add a few decibels to the gain but it also adds some noise. I think I would prefer the clean channel with an overdrive pedal. If you are interested in this amp I can't imagine you would be disappointed. Also the 12AX7 in the front end is awesome. I like it much better than the Nu Tubes in my Vox Mini Super Beetle. The Nu Tubes work but only if you really crank it up. This one is fun at all volume levels.

    This is probably the best amp in the Joyo line. Goes well with a Strat type guitar for all those lovely quaky sounds. Takes pedals well, even my Empress Heavy. Sounds better with a Wampler Tumnus pushing the front end though. The effects loop is quiet. You could possibly play small show with this, heck you may even be able to plug in an IR box of some sort and put it to the front of house or FRFR cab.
