Description
The Jackson USA RR1 Randy Rhoads Select Series Electric Guitar, reissuing the legendary ax that fueled the pioneering metal of its namesake. Now available in a high-performance Select Series version, this Rhoads-approved shredder is equipped for the pyrotechnics that made its designer famous. At its heart is an alder body with a rock-solid maple neck running straight through, providing unparalleled sustain and projection. The fast ebony fretboard—topped with Jackson's sharkfin inlays—meets a compound radius for effortless soloing across all 22 jumbo frets.
Screamin' pickups deliver genre-defining tone
The RR1 packs a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers—a Jazz SH2N at the neck and a high-output JB TB4 at the bridge—selected by Rhoads himself for their searing yet articulate voice. A three-way switch lets you move between neck, bridge and both pickups, unleashing a range of tones from warm cleans to face-melting overdrive.
Floyd Rose tremolo system built for divebombs
No Rhoads ax would be complete without an original Floyd Rose tremolo, and the RR1 delivers. This German-made double-locking system handles radical pitch bends and squeals with surgical precision, while keeping the guitar perfectly in tune. Combined with a sculpted tremolo cavity, the Floyd Rose produces a resonance and sustain unachievable with any other trem.
Mother-of-pearl accents and die-cast tuners
As the final touches, the RR1 features a bound ebony fretboard and headstock, mother-of-pearl Jackson logo and die-cast tuners for rock-solid intonation.

By far the best feeling guitar played. We all know that you can play a hundred guitars and they all feel slightly different. As soon as I played my USA RR1 Rhoads I knew I could stop looking for the perfect guitar. It's just so smooth to play, I can't explain it. Downright gorgeous to look at and sounds amazing. If you ever get a chance to own one, do it! :)

I have always wanted an RR1 and just recently was able to purchase one. I am so glad I did. I ordered it online and had it shipped to my house. It only took 3 days and got to my house all set up and ready to play. As a Gibson player all my life I was a little worried about how I would take to this guitar. A few days later I can't imagine how I lived without it all these years. Great feel, unbelievable sustain, light weight, and looks killer. This Jackson RR1 is a home run!
The best Ive ever played

Words cant come close to describing this guitar. You have to play one to truly appreciate it. The action, tone, finish and overall quality of this guitar far exceeds anything Ive ever owned or played. Including my Gibson Les Paul Custom. I use my RR1 for all types of music, from metal to blues, and though the guitar does excel at the heavier tones, it creates sweet blues tones effortlessly. If you're on the fence about purchasing one of these incredible guitars, find one locally and spend some time playing it. I assure you, all your doubts will be forgotten as soon as you plug in.

Bought this beautiful piece of work a while ago. I opened up the custom case that it was shipped in and I was speechless. I plugged in and the heavens parted. It has a very rich sound to it. The pickups sound very clean and clear, and you can get a crisp distortion when you want. You get a great sustain too. They're not muddy at all. The neck is smoothe and great for arpegios. You can also get great harmonics with this guitar. The Floyd Rose is a kind of a pain to deal with if you change the gauge of your strings or if you dont tune to E. But that's to be expected with any double locking system. That's the only thing i dont like about it. But the huge positives,by far, out weighs the very small negative. I would rather lose my house than this guitar. I love it

I love my RR1. Randy is by far my favorite guitarist. He is my idol and I love his music and everything about his playing style! I played Mr. Crowley on this masterpiece and it sounded almost identical. When I play it feels like gliding across the ocean. It's so smooth on the neck, you're hand just glides down. Not to mention the guitar looks fabulous. I sometimes just look at the neck and the body and just think to my self, what a beauty! GREAT GUITAR FABULOUS 5/5!
