Description
The HeadRush Flex Prime gives serious guitarists and bassists an all-in-one solution for crafting and sharing their perfect tone. With its 4" touchscreen, you have intuitive control over a vast library of modeled amps, cabinets, mics and effects. The powerful DSP system provides realistic, responsive sound quality with gapless switching between presets. You can load an unlimited number of additional amp and pedal clones from HeadRush Prime and Core, as well as guitar and bass cabinet impulse responses. An innovative hands-free edit mode even allows for on-the-fly changes during live performance.
Realistic Amplification
The Flex Prime features a custom DSP system running exclusive amp, cab and effects models from ReValver that provide responsive, realistic tone. Choose from a variety of vintage and modern amps, then pair them with guitar or bass cabs for your perfect foundation. Add modulation, delay, reverb and more to complete your sound.
Cutting-Edge Connectivity
The Flex Prime features exclusive next-generation Prime capabilities, including Wi-Fi connectivity to the HeadRush Cloud. There you can share and download amp clones, presets and firmware updates. The built-in Wi-Fi streaming practice tool, with Dropbox integration, makes learning new songs more convenient than ever. Best-in-class looping capabilities allow you to save, load, sync to a MIDI clock and automatically start loops. You can also stream audio via Bluetooth to play along with tracks on your mobile devices. The web-based Wi-Fi editor provides quick editing from your Mac, PC or mobile device so you never have to stop playing to tweak your tone.
All the I/O You Need
Despite its compact size, the Flex Prime offers all the connections you need. Three fully assignable footswitches provide instant access to functions like preset changes, tap tempo and more. The built-in expression pedal can control volume, wah or other parameters and features a toe-switch and adjustable tension. The stereo effects loop accommodates your favorite external pedals or interfaces with a traditional amp setup. You also get 1/8" AUX in, 1/8" headphones out, and MIDI in and out for syncing the looper or controlling other gear.
Updated Interface With Iconic Graphics
The refreshed Flex Prime interface provides an even easier, more intuitive experience. Updated menus and more powerful DSP remove previous limitations, allowing up to 14 blocks in each rig. Realistic graphics represent iconic amp and pedal designs so you can visualize your signal chain. Over 100 new amp, cab and effects models from ReValver provide a wider range of tones to build from. Presets from Chop Tones and new factory presets offer inspiration to get you started.
Download and Share
The included HeadRush Amp Clone player lets you download and use amp clones created on HeadRush Prime and Core devices. Direct Wi-Fi connectivity to the HeadRush Cloud facilitates sharing those clones, presets and firmware updates with other Flex Prime owners around the globe. With the Wi-Fi streaming practice tool, you can slow down, loop and stretch sections of your favorite songs to make learning them more effective. Bluetooth audio streaming means you can jam along with tracks from your mobile device. Great little modeler

I have been using the Headrush core for rehearsal, since I'm old to carry my tube amps around. So, when I knew about the flex prime, I was very excited. I did not let me down. Now I have everything that I need, including the expression pedal, in a very, very small package. Great sound and very easy to use. Very happy with my Headrush gear. Stopped using my fender TMP, also.
Almost perfect

I've purchased this a few weeks ago at my local guitar center and if I could I would rate this a 4.8 out of 5. Pros: this does almost everything you would want out of an amp cloning multi effects unit. Cons (not dealbreakers for me)the web based editing could be improved (like giving us the ability to type in the parameter setting) , Headrush could've given us more flexibility when it comes to the midi programming, like the ability to program scene changes or switch between presets without having to program that ability on the device foot switches, and the effects loop is ridiculously noisy. (This can be easily fixed using a noise gate but why waste space on your pedal board or waste block?) Overall it's a great, new unit and hopefully the flaws I've found could be improved with future updates.
