This up-tempo swinger begins with the full ensemble on a quasi improvisation line based on the changes to this well-known Cole Porter standard. Solos for trumpet and flute (opt. tenor) follow along with well structured ensemble backgrounds. The melody finally makes an appearance near the end, interspersed with a small combo, as the piece roars to an exciting full-blown finish. (Alto 1 doubles on Soprano, Tenor 1 doubles on Flute)
