The Gretsch G6210 Jr. Jet from Master Builder Stephen Stern reimagines a classic Gretsch design with modern tones and premium appointments. This semi-hollow electric guitar combines the focus and punch of a soapbar pickup with the shimmering resonance of a knotty pine top—delivering powerful midrange bite and sustain for days. Whether you're a rockabilly revivalist or just love that vintage Gretsch vibe, the G6210 Jr. Jet is a true player's instrument.

Balanced Tone From a Solid Knotty Pine Top

At the heart of the G6210 Jr. Jet lies a solid knotty pine top married to mahogany back and sides. This semi-hollow tonewood combination provides an ideal blend of warmth, clarity and projection. The knotty pine top rings out with shimmering highs and focused mids, while the mahogany brings out rich low-end presence. Whether strumming chords or digging into leads, you'll be rewarded with a balanced, articulate voice that slices through any mix.

Endless Twang With a Rocking Bar Bridge and Bigsby

To harness all that semi-hollow sustain, the Gretsch G6210 Jr. Jet features a brass rocking bar bridge paired with a Bigsby B5 vibrato tailpiece. This classic Gretsch hardware setup provides enhanced coupling between the strings and body for seemingly endless note bloom and feedback. Bend strings sky-high and they'll ring out for days. Palm-mute chords and you'll hear every nuance. The Bigsby's silky-smooth vibrato action also lets you unleash a flurry of dive bombs and warbles.

Midrange Muscle From a Seymour Duncan P-90

Driving the Jr. Jet's tone is a snarling Seymour Duncan P-90 soapbar pickup in the bridge position. This pickup captures all the punch and growl that P-90s are renowned for, with a midrange emphasis that cuts through any mix. Crank up your amp and prepare for a torrent of harmonically-rich overdrive as the P-90 drives the tubes into sublime distortion. But even when played clean, you'll enjoy plenty of articulation thanks to the focused midrange response.

Vintage Gretsch Vibe With Premium Appointments

Exquisite vintage-inspired details adorn the G6210 Jr. Jet, from the '54 Duo Jet headstock to the abalone Gretsch script logo and tortoiseshell binding. The rosewood fingerboard and relic'd lacquer finish evoke the well-loved look of a cherished workhorse guitar. Yet the craftsmanship is thoroughly modern, with Stephen Stern's meticulous construction ensuring flawless playability and resonance.
