Graph Tech has balanced the gear ratios to each string, which simplifies the tuning process. With Ratio tuners, a half turn is a semi-tone. The Graph Tech PRN-4324 is a right-handed set of open Ratio calibrated machine heads that feature a retro look and are made for vintage-style electric guitars that use 3+3 side tuners.

As a note, Graph Tech’s retro tuners are made to a vintage specification (for 11/32" peghead holes) and will not be a direct replacement for a modern tuner.
