The Godin Multiac Nylon Encore acoustic-electric guitar brings Multiac quality to a more affordable level for nylon-string players. It features two chambered silver leaf maple with Laurentian basswood wings and a solid cedar top that produce a warm and vibrant tone. The neck is wide enough for classical players yet slim and comfortable for electric guitarists as well.

The Multiac Encore's electronics are custom voiced, combining a sound imaging mic and an undersaddle transducer. A dual source pre-amp with volume, EQ, feedback control and blend permits an infinite range of acoustic nylon tones.

Godin continues to innovate in their much-appreciated Multiac line. With the Multiac Nylon Encore guitar, they've created a value-packed, stage-ready instrument that will appeal to all performing guitarists seeking new inspiration and sonic territories to explore.

This Multiac comes with a gig bag.

I've been playing guitar for 20 years, studied classical/flamenco at the conservatory of music. I was a bit skeptic about this guitar due that it did not have a hollow body, and that's very important for a classical/flamenco sound. However and to my surprise, the sound is more than perfect, I can even use "golpe" (hitting) technique and it does create a percussive sound. It has a loud enough sound when used without an amp, and the neck is very smooth. This is a MUST have for guitar playing evolution.

As a professional guitarist/vocalist (ballads, show tunes, etc) I've played many instruments in my life, from a life to one of Carlos Montoya's guitars. My Godin is so perfect in timbre, intonation, ease of play, it surpasses everything else. A fellow musician described the sound as "sitting inside Segovia's guitar."

I got this guitar a few days ago. It's incredible. I'll never sell it (and I buy and sell guitars way too much). Has a really unique sound plugged in and I love it. It's loud enough to practice with unplugged, but it really sounds great plugged in. I'm like the other reviewer, I have a Fishman Loudbox Mini, and I think they're the perfect pair. I play 99% fingerstyle, mostly Chet Atkins/Jerry Reed/Merle Travis kinds of music, and this guitar is PERFECT for it (I sold my Gretsch G5420 a month ago and don't regret it at all now). Get one!

Comes in a very nice gig bag. Right out of the bag the beauty of this guitar will stun you!!!! It sounds amazing when being played acoustic style but when you plug it in, it sounds heavenly. The tone controls on the guitar itself offer a variety of sounds that you can achieve. It's not too heavy, the neck is thin so it's very easy to play. The action is low, which I prefer so I didn't need to adjust anything. This is really a great guitar for anyone.

Purchased this a few weeks ago. I have had a hard time putting it down since it arrived. The sound is beautiful. It is a very versatile guitar. It does have a surprising amount of sound unplugged. I have been playing it through my Fishman loudbox and the sound is beyond compare. I purchased this to add variety to my collection. I am very pleased with my selection.
