Fourth-Gen Scarlett Preamps Offer Pristine Clarity

Scarlett 2i2 Gen 4 features the most transparent-sounding Scarlett mic preamps yet, giving you a clean canvas to paint your productions on. With an ultralow noise floor, you'll hear more of the true tone of vocals, guitar and other sources rather than added hiss or distortion. Using the same converters that are found in Focusrite's flagship RedNet interfaces the Scarlett 2i2 offers up to 120dB of dynamic range for tremendous depth and incredibly low latency so you can track and monitor in real-time without delay. Whether you're recording guitar, laying down vocal tracks or sampling with virtual instruments, Scarlett 2i2 Gen 4 captures every subtle detail and nuance.

Air Mode Brings Out The Flavor in Your Mix

Air Mode is a Scarlett feature you'll reach for again and again. At the touch of a button, it engages analog harmonic saturation to add the missing element that takes mixes from flat to vibrant. Vocals gain more body and presence while instruments open up with a three-dimensional sense of space, it's like having a high-end console channel strip built right in. Air Mode also helps tame harshness by gently saturating excess high frequencies, just engage it while tracking and get ready to hear your mixes come to life.

Large-Diaphragm AT2020 Captures Professional Vocals

The Audio-Technica AT2020 cardioid condenser microphone is a versatile studio mic equally at home on vocals, acoustic guitar, piano and more. Its custom-engineered 16 mm diaphragm handles subtle details with precision, while the extended frequency response captures clear highs and rich lows. The cardioid pattern minimizes unwanted room ambience and keeps the focus where it should be—your performance. The AT2020 is ruggedly built for years of studio use and produces pristine vocals at home, making it the ideal choice for your acoustic needs.

Large 45 mm drivers deliver articulate bass, smooth mids and crisp highs within a spacious soundstage. The closed-back earcups passively isolates you from outside distractions so you can pinpoint subtle details like reverb tails and quiet instrumental flourishes. Plush leatherette earpads stay comfortable during long sessions. When you need a break, the earcups swivel 180 degrees to rest comfortably on one ear.
