The Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 is a powerful yet simple-to-use USB-C audio interface that provides everything serious musicians need to capture professional recordings. With 18 inputs and 20 outputs, including eight high-quality mic preamps and a variety of connectivity options, you'll have all the I/O you need to record a full band or songwriter setup. The Scarlett 18i20's newly designed preamps offer an ultrawide gain range and low noise, allowing you to capture every nuance of your performance. You'll get the same renowned sound quality as Focusrite's flagship interfaces, with studio-grade 24-bit/192kHz converters and up to 122dB dynamic range providing pristine clarity.

Versatile Connectivity for any Setup

With eight analog inputs, including two instrument inputs and ADAT and SPDIF digital I/O, the Scarlett 18i20 has all the connectivity you need. Patch in mics, instruments, keyboards, drum machines and outboard gear with analog connections. Expand your I/O with ADAT and get up to 18 ins and 20 outs total. Built-in MIDI I/O lets you connect your favorite synths and controllers. Word clock in and out ensures sample-accurate sync with other digital devices.

Enhance Your Sound With Studio Processing

The Scarlett 18i20 includes a suite of studio plug-ins to enhance your recordings. Re-create the sound of Focusrite's classic consoles with the Red 2 & 3 plug-in, use the Softube Amp Room to dial in realistic amp tones or add studio reverb with Relab's LX480 Essentials. Auto-Tune Access provides real-time pitch correction, while splice Sounds gives you access to millions of samples and presets to power your music productions. You'll have an entire studio's worth of processing right at your fingertips.

Simple yet powerful control software

The Scarlett 18i20 works with Focusrite Control, an intuitive desktop app for macOS and Windows that lets you configure routing, monitoring and more with a few clicks of your mouse. Focusrite Control is also available as an iOS/Android app, allowing you to adjust monitor mixes and preamp gains from your mobile device. Set up a recording in seconds with Auto Gain, which automatically sets input levels and never lose a take thanks to Clip Safe, which tweaks gain in real time to avoid clipping.

Includes industry-standard recording software

The Scarlett 18i20 comes with everything you need to start recording and producing music. Ableton Live Lite provides an intuitive platform for songwriting and beatmaking. Pro Tools Artist gives you a fully-featured DAW for recording, editing and mixing. You'll have access to virtual instruments, effects and samples to fuel your creativity. No matter what type of music you want to create, the Scarlett 18i20 provides all the software tools and I/O to make it happen.
