Respecting Fender's legacy of innovation, the Player Telecaster's pair of Player Series single-coil pickups produce the crisp, punchy tones that defined electric guitar. Their articulate, well-balanced output cuts through any mix while retaining the Tele's characteristic warmth and chime. Three-way pickup switching provides versatile tonal options from glassy neck pickup tones to biting bridge pickup sounds to a blend of both.

Fast-Action Neck and 22-Fret Fingerboard Enable Expressive Playing

The Player Telecaster's maple neck has a comfortable modern C profile and smooth satin finish ideal for almost any playing style. Its 9.5" radius fretboard has 22 medium-jumbo frets, making it easy to bend notes and play more expressively. The synthetic bone nut enhances vibrational transfer for full, resonant tone.

I'm a bit snobbish about guitars. But American made have gotten so bloody expensive. If you want a well made guitar, that can go from squeaky clean to mean and nasty. This guitar will flat do the job. I own 42 guitars. And I would rate this in the top 5. And that includes top of the line Fender, Gibson, Gretsch and PRS. Highly recommend.

Returned after a week. One of the frets was popping out of fingerboard. The store was pretty reasonable about returning it.

  • Amazing product, unbelievable quality at price.

Been playing pretty much everything but name fender, charvel and Ibanez primarily. Jem 7v and charvel San Dumas and Gibson Les Paul so there all quality instruments. I sat down in guitar center and found this and just fell in love. Fit and finish is absolutely stunning. Tone is just fat and bluesy but still bright and not too piercing on the bridge. I could not be more happy.
