Crafted with a solid alder body, this limited-edition model features the stunning Moonlight Drive finish, adding a sleek, elegant aesthetic to its legendary build. The roasted maple neck enhances warmth, resonance and stability, while the satin urethane finish ensures a smooth playing feel. Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound split-coil pickup, this P Bass delivers fat, punchy lows, aggressive mids and articulate highs, making it a powerhouse for any genre. With precision-engineered hardware, rolled fingerboard edges and superior craftsmanship, this bass blends classic aesthetics with contemporary performance, offering the ultimate tool for both stage and studio.

Roasted Maple Neck for Smooth Playability

This limited-edition Player II Precision Bass features a roasted maple neck that enhances both tone and feel. The modern C-shaped profile offers a comfortable grip, while the satin urethane finish ensures a silky playing experience that reduces hand fatigue during long sessions. The 9.5" radius fingerboard is fitted with 20 medium jumbo frets and finished with rolled edges for smooth transitions up and down the neck. The roasted maple construction not only improves tonal stability but also adds a subtle resonance that enriches the instrument's overall sound. It's a thoughtful design that feels fast, fluid and reliable in any performance scenario.

Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound Pickup for Massive Tone

At the heart of this P Bass is the Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound split-coil pickup, delivering a bold, high-output tone with tremendous midrange presence. Featuring quarter-inch diameter pole pieces, this pickup expands the magnetic field and extends the frequency range, resulting in a fat, full-bodied sound with articulate highs and deep, punchy lows. Whether you're locking in a tight groove or pushing the boundaries with dynamic bass lines, this pickup ensures maximum clarity and definition. With the P Bass’s intuitive volume and tone controls, you can easily sculpt your sound to suit any playing style or genre.

Precision Hardware for Reliable Performance

Equipped with an adjustable 4-saddle bridge, single-groove steel saddles and open-gear tuners, this P Bass is built for rock-solid tuning stability and accurate intonation. The bridge allows for fine-tuning string action and ensures even string spacing for optimal playability. The open-gear tuners, paired with a synthetic bone nut, provide smooth, precise adjustments while minimizing string slippage. Built with durability and consistency in mind, these precision-crafted hardware components ensure that your instrument performs flawlessly, whether in the studio or on stage. It's an ultra-reliable setup that delivers consistent tone and flawless intonation, even under the most demanding conditions.

Classic Alder Body With Limited-Edition Moonlight Drive Finish

The Player II Precision Bass stays true to Fender's legacy with a solid alder body, known for its balanced, full-bodied tone and lightweight feel. It delivers a rich, warm low end, smooth mids and clear, singing highs—the foundation of the iconic P Bass sound. Its clear, resonant tone is also the perfect base for the Seymour Duncan SPB-3 pickup. To top it off, this limited-edition model features the striking Moonlight Drive finish, giving it a bold, sophisticated look that sets it apart. Whether on stage or in the studio, this finish ensures you look as good as you sound.

Timeless Feel, Modern Inspiration

The Fender Player II Precision Bass merges tradition with innovation—capturing the soul of a classic while enhancing playability and performance for today's bassist. From the vintage-style aesthetics to the refined neck and powerful Seymour Duncan pickup, this limited-edition P Bass is an open invitation to create, explore and define your sound. Own it. All materials feel premium. Neck is smooth and the tone is gorgeous. I love the color and the added Seymour Duncan pickups sound great. Still needs a set up and when I bought it the action is still high. This is nothing that can't be fixed. Great bass and a worthy one in my collection.

The Fender Player II Precision Bass features standard open-gear tuning machines. While Fender's official product listings do not specify the exact gear ratio for these tuners, it's likely that they are similar to those used in the original Player Series, which have a 22:1 gear ratio .
