The stock Fender P90 sized single coil would be the only improvement. Very cool, overlooked feature is the top loader bridge. You can put the strings through the body like a normal tele, or top load. Gives a slinkier Les Paul feel—but makes tuning, dependability second to none.

I'm a slide guy and open G player. This guitar is great for it. The single P90 has a wide array of tones just from using the volume and tones knobs. Neck feels great, body is a Tele, most of us know the rest. Really shocked at how good the pickup is in this. Will restring with 10-52. Overall a surprisingly great guitar
