The Fender American Professional II Roasted Pine Stratocaster HSS combines decades of innovation with fresh upgrades for today's players. This Stratocaster is crafted with a lightweight roasted pine body and satin-finished maple neck for enhanced resonance and playability. The revised V-Mod II single-coil pickups in the neck and middle position deliver vintage-style warmth and clarity, while the bridge Shawbucker humbucker pumps out punchy tones. A push-push tone knob activates the humbucker's coil-splitting function for a convincing single-coil sound. The upgraded two-point tremolo system features a cold-rolled steel block for improved sustain and tone. This versatile, articulate Stratocaster is ideal for any genre and playing style.

Roasted Pine Body Provides Exceptional Tone and Playability

The roasted pine body is a first for Fender and provides a lightweight, resonant foundation for this Stratocaster's impressive tone. The roasting process involves slowly heating the wood to modify its structure, resulting in a body that is more stable and acoustically responsive. Rolled fretboard edges and a contoured neck heel ensure playing comfort.

V-Mod II Pickups Deliver Vintage-Style Clarity

The V-Mod II single-coil pickups in the neck and middle position provide warmth and clarity reminiscent of vintage Stratocasters. The bridge Shawbucker humbucker activates a coil-splitting function via the push-push tone knob for a range of tones from punchy humbucker to articulate single-coil. This versatile pickup configuration suits any genre.

Upgraded Hardware for Improved Performance

The two-point synchronized tremolo features a cold-rolled steel block for improved sustain and resonance. Narrow tall frets make bending and vibrato easier while the modern C-shaped neck profile provides a comfortable feel. Additional features include a bone nut, synthetic bone saddles and Fender-stamped tuners.

Premium Appointments for Professional Tone

With premium touches found on Custom Shop models, this Stratocaster produces professional-level tone. The satin-finished maple neck feels smooth and fast while the sculpted neck heel provides unimpeded access to the upper frets. A deluxe molded case protects your investment and ensures safe transport. Overall, the Fender American Professional II Roasted Pine Stratocaster HSS delivers exceptional performance and value for the dedicated guitarist.

All I can say is this is an amazing instrument, and I am so happy I chose it. Not only does it play and sound like a dream, but it's also absolutely gorgeous. The pine makes it really light too, which I love. The factory setup was also one of the best I've experienced thus far, and I've bought a lot of different Fenders. This one, however, is very special in every way. It is so easy to play, as well. The HSS setup is a must. I love the maple neck too which the HSS set up. It gives the tones a much deeper sound that you wouldn't normally get with a maple neck. I can't think of one aspect of this guitar that isn't just so perfectly thought out. The body is just so beautiful, and it's ultimately way more beautiful in person than in the photos. It must be one of the most beautiful Strats I have seen and have been fortunate enough to play. I am beyond grateful and appreciative to be able to own such a gorgeous, well thought out guitar that literally looks and plays a dream.

I have been a Les Paul player for most of my playing career, never gave a Strat a second thought! And then I bought the HSS-and I have a hard time putting it down! I play it most of the time, love the idea of it having a hum-bucker just makes the sound so much better!! Great Guitar!!!

I am a church musician in a worship band. Play every week. Love, love the tones out of this guy! These pups are awesome! Really like the coil-splitting humbucker at bridge position. Finish (Sienna burst) was darker than the image shown online - but still beautiful - no problem at all! Really only one issue - I guess I'm not a big fan of the "pop-in" tremolo. I have another older Strat with screw in tremolo (use little spring, etc) and it's great. With the pop-in it is very difficult to get it in/out and once inserted there is a little play/looseness. Working around that.
