Steve Morse is widely known as one of the greatest and most versatile guitarists of our time. The Ernie Ball Music Man Steve Morse signature electric guitar, made to Steve's exact specifications, has been his instrument of choice both in the studio and on stage for nearly 40 years. Featuring a classic double cutaway design, four custom DiMarzio pickups, and an intuitive switching layout, this signature guitar affords effortless playability, comfortable yet solid construction, and a full range of tonal possibilities.

Four Custom Pickups for Versatile Tones

The Steve Morse signature guitar is equipped with two DiMarzio custom humbucking pickups, one DiMarzio custom single coil, and one proprietary single coil pickup. When combined, these pickups, controlled by a 3-way lever and two toggle switches, provide a total of 11 different pickup configurations, allowing for a wide range of tonal possibilities.

Tune-O-Matic Bridge for Stability and Sustain

In use since the early 1950s, this popular bridge option is standard on the Steve Morse signature guitar. The Tune-o-Matic bridge is excellent for players who prefer a hardtail bridge option with great sustain and allows for easy string replacement.

Poplar Body with Exclusive Finish

The Steve Morse signature guitar features a poplar body with an exclusive Morse Blue Burst finish. This visually striking color adds to the guitar's distinctive appeal, paying homage to Steve Morse’s signature style. The poplar body is lightweight and resonant, contributing to the guitar's balanced tonal characteristics.

Roasted Maple Neck and Premium Hardware

The Steve Morse signature guitar utilizes a roasted figured maple neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard, providing a warm, rich tone. The 5-bolt sculpted neck joint allows for seamless access to all 22 stainless steel frets, ensuring playability and comfort across the entire neck. The Tune-o-Matic bridge offers excellent sustain and tuning stability, while the Schaller locking tuners provide reliable performance even during the most intense playing sessions.
