The Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Super Sport electric guitar with a quilted maple top retains all its classic, familiar features—an ever-comfortable asymmetric neck shape, proprietary EBMM vintage tremolo with locking Schaller tuners, 5-way pickup switch, Volume/Tone controls and custom DiMarzio humbuckers. It has a roasted maple neck, roasted figured maple fingerboard and 22 high-profile, medium-width stainless steel frets. Complemented by a basswood body, the Axis Super Sport’s tonewood/pickup combination is the perfect recipe for hard edge rock tones, with a subtle dynamic response at lower volume levels when needed.
