The Bass and Treble knobs provide up to 15dB of cut or boost, while the Parametric Mids section lets you select the frequency range and intensity of the midrange boost. Despite the LPB-3's extensive tone-sculpting abilities, it features an easy-to-use interface with clearly labeled knobs. The Boost knob sets the maximum amount of gain boost, from 0 to 33dB. The Bass, Treble and Parametric Mids knobs make it simple to adjust the EQ to your liking. An EQ bypass switch lets you compare tones with the EQ engaged and bypassed. Two additional switches select between 20dB and 33dB of maximum boost and buffered or true bypass. The LPB-3 strikes an ideal balance of simplicity and versatility.

The parametric mids control makes the LPB-3 a surgical tone shaping tool. Select the precise midrange frequency you want to boost or cut, from 200 Hz up to 5 kHz, then dial in the bandwidth to broadly or narrowly target those mids. With this level of control over the midrange, you can eliminate muddy tones or bring shimmering high mids into focus.
