Figured Tonewoods Provide Aesthetic and Sonic Beauty

The top and back of the Arrow CTM NT feature beautifully figured curly walnut with spalted maple edges—set on an exemplary swamp ash body—with a thin dark brown burst applied near the edges of the walnut to exaggerate its bevels. These tonewoods provide visual elegance as well as a full, resonant tone with clear, ringing highs and tight, focused lows. The swamp ash foundation adds warmth and richness tonally, allowing the flamed walnut and spalted maple to shine through. Pink-finished wood is also used throughout the instrument as a playful accent—as with cherry blossoms, pink pairs beautifully with brown. Set-Thru Neck Maximizes Sustain

With set-thru construction, the neck extends through the body of the Arrow CTM NT, anchored directly into the tailpiece. This provides maximum contact between the neck and body, so notes ring out with full sustain and resonance. The thin U-shape seven-piece neck—comprised of quilted maple, purpleheart, hard maple and ziricote—also provides fast, comfortable playability so you can express yourself freely.
