Darkglass

collapse expand iconDescription

Designed in collaboration with renowned bassist and producer Amos Heller, the Darkglass KAAMOS combines deep sub-octave power with rich, harmonically complex distortion. This innovative pedal offers real-time routing controls, allowing players to stack effects in series for thick saturation or run them in parallel for layered textures. With a configurable movable effects loop, a dedicated sub-octave output, and extensive tone-shaping controls, KAAMOS delivers unparalleled sonic flexibility for modern bassists.

Shape Your Tone With Dual-Path Processing

KAAMOS lets you mix distortion and octave-down effects for a massive, full-spectrum sound. Adjust the Drive knob to dial in the perfect amount of grit, then use the Drive Mod control to blend between two distinct drive circuits (α and Ω) for a customized feel. The Octave Filter fine-tunes the low-end response, ensuring thick bass tones without losing definition.

Customize Your Signal Path

Take control of your effects with KAAMOS' real-time routing system. Press the Octave Level knob to switch between parallel and series effect positioning, letting you choose whether your octave and distortion stack together or remain independent. The effects loop can be placed after the octaver, after the distortion, or running in parallel, allowing you to add external pedals and expand your tonal possibilities.

Dedicated Sub Output for Multi-Amp Setups

The sub-octave output gives you the ability to send just the octave-down signal to a separate amp or mix channel, giving you even more control over your low-end sound. Whether you’re playing live or tracking in the studio, the Darkglass KAAMOS pedal ensures that your bass cuts through the mix with clarity and depth.

Built for Performance and Durability

With its rugged, compact enclosure, KAAMOS pedal is built for life on the road. High-visibility LED indicators show you which effect routing mode is active, and the intuitive controls make it easy to adjust your sound on the fly. Powered by a 9V DC adapter with a 400mA current draw, this pedal provides consistent, high-quality performance in any setting.
