Description
The D'Addario EXL110-12P Nickel Wound Light electric guitar strings 12-pack offers a bright tone and reduced fret wear that suits guitarists of all genres. These nickel-plated steel strings feature a hexagonal steel core and are renowned as "The Player's Choice" for their longevity, smooth playability, and tuning stability. Whether you prefer rock, blues, jazz or metal, this 12-pack of light gauge strings (.010, .013, .017, .026, .036, .046) provides the versatility and reliability needed for any musical context.
Nickel-Plated Steel for Bright, Punchy Tone
The nickel-plated steel wrap wire produces a crisp, articulate tone with bell-like highs and tight lows. The hexagonal steel core enhances clarity and definition for articulate single-note lines and complex chords alike. These nickel-plated strings are also more resistant to corrosion and less prone to fracturing than pure nickel strings.
Smooth Playability and Rock-Solid Intonation
The EXL110-12P strings feature a light gauge that maximizes playability and minimizes finger fatigue. Their high-carbon steel core and nickel-plated wrap wire provide stability and consistency for precise intonation all along the fretboard. Whether performing intricate solos or rhythmic strumming, these strings will stay in tune through an entire set.
Long Lasting and Reliable
As the world's largest string manufacturer, D'Addario is renowned for producing high-quality, problem-free strings. The EXL110-12P strings are built to rigorous quality standards and engineered for maximum durability. Their corrosion-resistant nickel-plated steel wrap wire and high-carbon steel core provide a combination of tone and longevity found in no other string.
Convenient Packaging for Frequent Replacements
This 12-pack of light electric guitar strings allows for frequent string changes while avoiding the hassle of purchasing individual sets. The EXL110-12P strings arrive in resealable packaging to keep unused strings fresh until you're ready to install them.

have used D'Addarios for 30 years now
after frustration of breaking strings constantly as a beginner I naturally gravitated towards a brand I felt would hold up. as time went on I discovered with regular cleaning they would go for months at a time. the downside is that I would forget to change them after they would go dead . but for playing live/ or with friends its better to change them more often . I use the phosphor bronze on acoustic as well . at any one time all nine of my axes are strung with D'Addarios because of the tone , reliability , consistency, and value for the money I have come to appreciate over the years

I've always been a fan of D'Addario on my Floyd Rose equipped guitars. Now that I most play Les Pauls, I needed to step up to .010's and decided to give the EXL-110's a try. Wow! They are bright and full. Love them. That's why I bought the 12 pack when they were on sale. #sweepstakes

I always use Ernie ball strings. I think these might be better actually. After almost 40 years I'm starting to think these might be better.
