The Cort A8 Gold Series Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar provides a premium playing experience for discerning musicians. Featuring a torrefied solid Sitka spruce top, solid pau ferro back and sides and a reinforced mahogany neck, the Gold A8 delivers resonant tone with crisp articulation. Fishman's Flex Blend System gives you control over the guitar's acoustic and plugged-in sounds using knobs for volume, tone and pickup blend.

Aged Solid-Wood Top Opens Up Over Time

The Gold A8's torrefied Sitka spruce top is specially treated to simulate the tonal effects of decades of aging. As the top wood opens up, you'll enjoy enhanced projection, warmth and sustain. The solid pau ferro back and sides provide balanced tone and attractive figured grain. Together, these premium woods create an acoustic voice suited for any genre.

Reinforced Neck Stays True

The Gold A8's mahogany neck is reinforced with two walnut inserts for stability and rigidity. This innovative construction keeps the neck resistant to warping while maintaining wood's natural resonance. A smooth rosewood fingerboard and hand-rolled fret edges offer comfortable playability. The neck's strong, solid feel gives you confidence for complex chords and single-note runs.

Plug In and Shape Your Tone

The Fishman Flex Blend System provides natural plugged-in tone and lots of tonal control. Blend between the undersaddle pickup and condenser mic.
