Charvel

collapse expand iconDescription

The Charvel Jake E Lee Signature Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HSS HT RW electric guitar honors the dynamic guitarist with a new model based on the distinctive white “Charvel-ized” instrument that Lee has played ever since he bought it in 1975. A guitar virtuoso who blazed trails in the ’80s with Ratt and Rough Cutt before landing his legendary gig as Ozzy Osbourne’s lead guitarist, Jake E Lee has continued his acclaimed career with Badlands and now Red Dragon Cartel, joined by his Charvel every step of the way.

A hotly requested model now available at a more accessible price, the Jake E Lee Signature features a 25.5” scale, alder body, and bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement and hand-rubbed satin urethane finish. Built for high-performance, the 12"-16" compound radius rosewood fingerboard includes comfortably rolled edges, 21 jumbo frets and white dot inlays. Make any neck relief tweaks on the fly with the convenient heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel.

Bring a powerful low end and radiant highs to your sound with the Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 humbucking bridge pickup, while the single-coil DiMarzio SDS-1 DP111 middle and neck pickups add punch, warmth and gain with a deeper, darker bottom end. This versatile axe also features a 5-way blade switch, single volume Strat-style skirt control knob, hardtail bridge with black base plate and Charvel tuning machines with pearl buttons.

Came in with finish cracks in the neck pocket, a terribly cut nut, and a neck you could shoot an arrow with. Even after correcting all of that it felt like a $300 guitar with the added bonus of terrible quality control. one of the few returns I've ever done. #sweepstakes

My guitar came perfect. I guess the GC issues are 50/50.. it's worth taking the risk. I enjoy playing this guitar!

Purchased new and pick guard was missing screw and neck nut not even seated correctly or glued in. Would be a great guitar but quality control was poor on the guitar I purchased. So close to being a really great Guitar but the small details missed.
